Family Sized Banana Cake

Banana Cake

  • 2cups --- over ripe bananas, mashed, (approx 5 ripe bananas)
  • 250 g vegetable oil
  • 290 g raw sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 410 g Self Raising Flour
  • 1 teaspoon bicarb soda

Recipe's preparation

    Banana Cake Method
  1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees Celcius.

    Grease and line a deep 23cm square cake pan.

    Grind sugar 10 sec, speed 10. Scrape down sides.

    Add all other ingredients to TM bowl. Combine together 2mins, speed 5. until smooth and changed in colour.

    Pour into prepared pan.

    Bake in moderately low oven for about 1 1/4 hours. or until golden brown and a skewer comes out clean. Stand for 5 minutes in the tin before turning onto wire rack to cool.
