Fudgy Chocolate Slice

  • 160 grams Self Raising Flour, (1 cup)
  • 40 grams desicated coconut, (1/2 cup)
  • 95 grams brown sugar, (1/2 cup)
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 125 grams Butter, Cubed
  • 1 can Condensed milk 400g
  • 125 grams dark chocolate
  • icing sugar, To dust with

Recipe's preparation

    Recipe Preparation
  1. Line a slice tray (approx. 20cm x 30cm) with baking paper (stick paper to tray with spray oil)

  2. Weigh butter into bowl and melt for 2 mins/90 deg/speed 2 

  3. Weigh all ingredients into bowl (except dark chocolate) and combine for 15 seconds/speed 4

  4. Scrape mixture out of bowl into the slice tin

  5. Break up dark chocolate and press pieces into the slice mixture, then smooth over

  6. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 30 minutes

     

  7. When slice has cooled, dust with icing sugar and cut into even squares

    This slice is fabulous and so easy. I didn't have any cocoa so used milo and I used caramel choc bits instead of the dark chocolate. It was 'gobbled' up quickly!
