Cake Batter

  • 125 grams GF Self Raising Flour, (I use the Orgran Brand)
  • 90 grams Butter, Room temperature
  • 180 grams sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 grams Milk
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celcius

    Place all ingredients into thermomix bowl.

    Mix 30 seconds, speed 4

    Scrape down sides of bowl

    Mix 30 seconds, speed 4, or until batter is smooth.

    Pour cake batter into cupcake containers (patty pans/muffin tins)

    Bake in moderate oven for 20-25 minutes.

    Ice with your favourite frosting.

Tip

These are best eaten within 24 hours of baking, but they do freeze really well. 

They are delicious defrosted in the microwave until slightly warm with cream.
