      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees

Place butter and sugar into TM bowl and mix on speed 5 until pale and creamy.

Add milk and vanilla to the TM bowl and mix on spreed 4 until combined.

Add GF flour and GF custard powder on speed 5 until combined.

You could add mix ins at this step too if you like. We added Hundreds and Thousands.

Roll into balls and press down with a fork.

Bake for 20 mins or until slightly golden.

These cookies are amazing! I used Aldi brand gf srf, added a pinch of salt and added dark choc chips. They are deliciously crunchy and short - my kids declared them the best ever! Thank you for a wonderful recipe - I plan on making them as jam drops next time!
