Grain-free Chocolate Beetroot Cake

Ingredients

  • 500 g Roasted Beetroot
  • 4 eggs
  • 90 g macadamia oil
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 240 g honey
  • 75 g coconut flour (1/2 cup)
  • 100 g cacao powder (1 cup)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees celcius.

    Mix all ingredients together Speed 6/20 sec or until well combined. 

    Bake in a lined 8 inch cake pan for 45 min or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Tip

I have also tried this recipe with raw grated beetroot and it worked well, just needed more blending.
