- 185 grams plain four
- 100 grams Butter, chopped
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon Milk
- 110 grams chocolate hazelnut spread
- 2 tablespoons hazelnuts, ground
Pulverize the sugar
Add flour and butter on speed 4 until it turns to a crumb.
Add egg yolk and the milk on speed 3 until it forms a ball.
Take out of the bowl. Put on your thermo mat, lightly floured. Give it a light knead until smooth. Wrap in cling wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Roll dough between 2 sheets of baking paper until its aprox 20cm x 30cm. 0.5cm thick.
Spread dough evenly with hazelnut spread.
I didn't weigh my spread!
Then sprinkle with ground hazelnuts.
Using the bottom piece of baking paper, roll dough tightly.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Remove from fridge. Cut into 1cm slices. Place on baking paper 2cm apart. Bake for 20 mins on 180C
Accessories you need
If you dont have ground hazelnuts, it's easy enough to pulverize them prior to starting the recipe.
