  • 300 grams Plain Flour.
  • 180 grams Butter
  • 70 grams raw sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa
  • 1 --- egg
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla essence or sugar

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Line Baking Tray with baking paper and preheat oven to 180 degrees

     

    Mill 30gms Hazlenuts on sp7 for 10 secs until fine, put aside.

     

    Blend 180gms Butter and 70gms sugar together for 30 secs on sp4 until smooth and creamy, scrape sides of bowl.

     

    With TM still going add 300gms plain flour, 1.5tsps cocoa, reserved hazlenuts, 1 egg,  vanilla essence and salt.

     

    Mix for 1 minute on sp4 until tender and a firm consistency, remove from bowl 

     

    Roll out with rolling pin and cut  into desired shape,  bake in a  180degree oven for 15 mins

     

    Ive decorated with Royal icing from the EDC
