If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Oven on 160 fan forced. Loaf tin greased & baking paper.
Add softened butter, sugar to thermo mc for10 sec: speed 6. Scrape the sides of bowl. Another 10 sec: speed 7- Add in the eggs one at a time.
Add vanilla & scrape the sides. Blitz for another 10sec: speed 6. Add sifted SR & baking powder. 10sec: speed 1.
Pour into prepared loaf tin. Bake for 45min. When baked allow to cool.
Prepare the jam on stove top & reach boiling point. Carefully pour onto cake. Sprinkle the cake with the coconut. Allow to cool completely.Enjoy 😃
