      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre heat oven to 170 °C and line a loaf tin with baking paper
  2. Place lemon peel and 50 g of allulose in mixing bowl then grate
    10 sec/speed 10

    Scrape down sides of mixing bowl then grate again
    10 sec/speed 10 scrape down sides of the mixing bowl.
  3. Add 125 g allulose, butter and eggs then mix 20 sec/speed 5
  4. Add almond meal, cream then mix 15 sec/speed 5
    Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula then mix again
    15 sec/speed 5
  5. Transfer batter to prepared loaf tin and bake for 35-45 mins until a skewer inserted in center comes ot clean.
  6. Leave loaf to rest for 10 mins in tin.
  7. Place remaining 125 g allulose and lemon juice in mixing bowl and mix 8 sec/speed 8
  8. While cake is still warm, prick deeply with a skewer. remove from tin to aplate and drizzle glaze over top allowing it to seep in. Cut into slices and decorate with extra lemon zest if desired.
