  • 240 g Self Raising Flour
  • 75 g Milo
  • 120 g brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 170 g Milk
  • 60 g Butter
  • 125 g Choc Chips (optional)

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees C

    2.  Add all ingredients to TM Bowl, mix speed 4 until smooth

    3. Pour into muffin or cupcake papers until 3/4 full.

    4. Bake for approx 25-30mins or until cooked

    So good! I changed it to 80grams of sugar, 45g butter (nuttlex). Used Almond milk and GF SRF.
    I added some 100s n 1000s on top and a couple of chocolate chips. My 3.5 yr old loved them!

    So quick! Reduced sugar to 100grams and that was plenty. Cooked for 25 minutes and they were definitely cooked so will check after 20 minutes next time.

    Delicious and so easy! Will cook for the 30 mins next time as were still slightly raw in the middle (although it was fudgy and yummy). Might try a little less sugar next time too 😊

    I didn't have Milo so replaced this with 60g cocoa. Toned down the sweetness which worked well. I also substituted butter for coconut oil which gave a slightly different taste/texture but worked.

    A great and easy recipe for school lunches.  A bit too sweet, so for our second batch I reduced the sugar by 30grams (admitedly, I did have the choc chips included) - just to make a bit healthier for the kids.  A definate winner that we will make again!  Thanks.
