If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip

Change the flavour of these to lemon by adding lemon juice and zest instead of the orange.  These are so easy and a great muffin to whip up when you dont have much time as its a chuck everything in and whiz it up kind of recipe! They are also really healthy and school friendly (minus the macadamia oil)

  • Beautiful flavour, took

Beautiful flavour, took advice and changed orange for lemon as a preference. Mixture was extremely liquid so added extra coconut flour which made the end result a little dry and heavy, also made into bigger muffins making 6, took 25mins in 180C oven (not fan forced). Will definitely try again.

  • Lovely, soft little muffins,

Lovely, soft little muffins, thanks. I didn't have arrowroot so substituted with the same amount of cornflour.  Mine only needed about 15 mins in the oven.
