Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipe's preparation
- 6 min / 90°c/ speed 4
3 min / 100°/ speed 3
set aside in a dish, and cover to prevent skin forming
Prepare pastry cases by cutting thawed pastry in half and placing on top of each other.
Roll from short end to form a log and slice into 12 discs.
Roll discs flat to form a round.
Place pastry into greased baking tray.
Fill cases 3/4 full with custard
Bake 200°c 25-30 mins till browned
Cool in tray 5 mins before transferring to cooling rack
Add custard ingredients to bowl with butterfly attachment in place

Tip
I use plain dental floss to cut the pastry log to ensure the round shape is maintained. Fishing line is also good.
