  • 400 g Brown Rice Syrup

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Protein Bars
  1. Add Almond Butter and Brown Rice Syrup to Mixing bowl and mix 10sec Sp4

    Scrape down the side of the bowl
  2. Heat 1:30 / 60c / Stirring Speed (1)
  3. Add Protein Powder - i used half Chocolate and half vanilla
    Stir 5sec/Sp4

    Scrape bowl
  4. Add Oats and mix 30sec/Sp5

    Slowly add water through the lid if the mixture is sticky and repeat the above step.
  5. Roll into balls or spread in a pan and cut into squares.

    Sprinkle with shredded coconut and refridgerate for 1 hour

    Store in the fridge.

Tip

Use the Turbo function or pre clean mode after you have finished as the mixture is quite sticky in the bowl.

Wet hands before rolling the balls.
