If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Make the caramel first-
Add brown sugar, milk powder, butter, golden syrup and water to the bowl.
Mix 20min 90⁰ speed 4 - Allow to cool for 10 minutes
- Leaving the caramel in the bowl.
Add vanilla, flours, eggs and butterscotch
Mix 20 seconds, "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 3 - Scrape down sides
Mix 10 seconds "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 3 - Pour into a 20cm round cake tin
Bake at 150⁰ for 1hr 15mins
Allow to cool in pan for 15minutes before moving to a wire rack
Can be frozen.

Tip
This recipe makes 1x 20cm round cake.
To make a 25cm cake use 1.5x the recipe.
Cake pictured is 2 x 20cm & 2 x 25cm.
