If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Mill sugar to castor sugar 2 Seconds, Speed 9.
Combine cornflour, coconut to sugar and mix well, 5-20 Seconds, Reverse, Speed 5-6.
Beat in egg and salt, mix well 5-20 Seconds, Reverse, Speed 5-6.
Place heaped tablespoonfuls of mixture on to lined tray, press mixture lightly into peaked macaroon shape.
Bake in moderate oven 180C 15 minutes or until light golden brown.
Remove from oven, loosen on trays immediately, allow to cool on trays.

Cook's notes
Oven temperatures are for conventional; if using fan-forced (convection), reduce the temperature by 20˚C.
We use Australian tablespoons and cups:
1 teaspoon equals 5 ml;
1 tablespoon equals 20 ml;
1 cup equals 250 ml.
All herbs are fresh (unless specified) and cups are lightly packed.
All vegetables are medium size and peeled, unless specified.
All eggs are 55-60 g, unless specified.
