- 200 g wholewheat flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 230 g buttermilk
- 40 g olive oil
- 2 tbsp xylitol, or sugar
- 30 g agave nectar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 medium apple quartered, peeled
- 80 g walnuts
Recipe is created for
Preheat oven to 200c and have paper cups in a 12 cup muffin pan.
Place apple and walnuts in TM for 5 sec, speed 7, remove and place aside.
Without cleaning the TM bowl add first 5 ingredients, mix 5 sec, speed 4.
add all remaining ingredients including apple and walnuts and combine 10 sec, speed 4.
Pour into muffin tray and bake for 15 minutes in centre of oven.
Cool in tray on rack for 5 minutes then remove from muffin tray to cool on rack completely.
