For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- In varoma, rinse almonds and leave to drain whilst doing next step.
- Add 250g icing sugar to bowl "Closed lid"
- Add 1.5 tablespoons Cinnamon to bowl"Closed lid"
- Place plastic wrap over bowl before placing lid
- Mix for 5 seconds speed 4"Blend" "Kettle"
- Arrange almonds on large paper lined tray
- Tip icing sugar mixture over almonds and stir to coat
- Place in preheated oven (180°c) for 20 mins stirring once halfway through
- "Blend" Stir again when you remove from oven. Almonds will be soft when warm but will harden when cooled.
Enjoy
Preheat oven to 180°c
