      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Cake batter
  1. 1. Put all ingredients into mixing bowl

    2. Mix speed 5 for 30 seconds 

    3. Pour batter into lined cake tin

    4. Bake 45minutes on 180 degreese celsius or until browned & skewer comes out clean

     

    **I like having small chunks of dates throughout the cake when eating it, so I dont pre chop them. You could also add walnuts to the batter in the last 15seconds of mixing too.
