For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip

Glitter and Essential Oils - Add a sprinkle of glitter and 3-4 drops of essential oil at the same time as the food colouring.

Doubling - This recipe can easily be doubled. Simply add some additional kneading time.

Multicolours - if wanting different coloured playdough, don't add the food colouring to step 4. Continue with step 4 and 5 as instructed with the uncoloured dough and then split the dough into portions, add each portion back to the bowl, add the colouring and Dough mode until fully mixed in.

Happy, creative playing and if you have given my recipe a go, I'd love for you to take a minute and rate it. Thanks very much.
