Enjoy >>>> check out My other recipes on the recipe community while here too //www.recipecommunity.com.au/user/99230/myrecipes/all Cheers Ruth We have been at the same school for almost 2 decades and these have been a constant from the very first day. My kids loved buying them from Tuckshop as a treat but I was never able to recreate them at home quite as good. Enter Thermomix and a stolen recipe from school Tuckshop and I nailed it. Some of my kids haven't had them for years and they all gave them the thumbs up this morning.

I couldn’t believe how light and fluffy these were. By far the best recipe for pikelets I’ve come across. I made strawberry jam and had them on the pikelets with a dollop of cream. So decadent. I configured the recipe for two eggs and used the THERMO server to keep them warm. Made at least 30 so thank you so much.

Great recipe, and it is certainly VERY generous in the amount of batter. Next time I'd add a little vanilla, but was great as is and has meant the freezer is stocked with excess tmrc_emoticons.)

  • Best recipe ever! My husband

    Submitted by SarahFishburn on 4. August 2016 - 15:24.

Best recipe ever! My husband wanted pancakes - so off I went and found this recipe. I added some vanilla essence into the batter and I didn't leave the batter to rest either - just cooked straight away. This makes heaps of hotcakes or pikelets. I served with home made lemon butter and some maple syrup.

If you haven't made these yet - DO IT! THEY ARE THE BOMB!!!!! 10/10

Lovey recipe with consistent results. Makes a good size batch of pikelets that are tender and tasty. I cut back on sugar, and add vanilla bean paste to the batter for some extra flavor.
