Basic Yeast Dough

  • 50 g sugar
  • 400 g warm water
  • 1 tbsp dry yeast, 2 x Sachets
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 750 g bakers flour

Recipe's preparation

    Prepare Leavened Dough for Making Steam Buns
  1. 1.  Place sugar, warm water, yeast and baking powder into the TM Bowl.   Mix it for 2 seconds on SP2.

    2.  Add the baker's flour and oil.   Mix for 5 seconds on SP4.

    3.  Set time for 1.5 minutes, Closed Lid Position Closed lid and Dough mode.

    4.  When ready, pour dough onto the TM mat.  

    5.  Knead it lightly and wrap up and leave it to rise for about 1 to 2 hours.  

    6.   This dough is ready for use to make BBQ Pork Buns, Vegetable Buns or Red Bean Paste Buns.
