Ham & pineapple pizza pull-apart bread

Bread

  • 460 g lukewarm water
  • 4 tsp Yeast
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 760 g baker's flour
  • 120 g oil

Topping

  • 100 g pizza sauce, to taste
  • 1 fresh pineapple, flesh only, cut into chunks or 300 g tinned
  • 60 g thinly sliced ham, cut into strips
  • 60 g pepperoni, thinly sliced
  • 60 g cheddar or mozzarella cheese

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Place water, yeast, salt, flour and oil into mixing bowl and mix 6 sec/speed 7 to combine, then knead 2 1/2 min/Closed lid/Dough mode. Leave dough in mixing bowl to prove until doubled in size.

  2. Once risen, roll dough onto ThermoMat into a large rectangular shape and cover with pizza sauce.

  3. Place arrange pineapple, ham and pepperoni evenly across dough then, using the spatula, cut dough into 3 - 4 cm strips.

  4. Take each strip and fold into a concertina before placing into a 26 cm springform cake tin, cut side up. Repeat with remaining strips, each strip touching the next. Place into the oven to bake for 40 - 45 minutes and enjoy!

    I made this and the dough was enough to fill two of my round cake tins.  Beautiful light dough and the kids enjoyed the result.  I didn't measure my topping ingredients, but would add a little extra next time.  Thanks for the recipe.  I'll definitely be experimenting with some variations.

    One of the first dishes I made with the Thermomix. The whole family loved it!!! I think I put a bit to much topping on though, as I had to make scrolls, but it was just as delicious tmrc_emoticons.)
