Spiced fruit and nut loaf

  • 100 grams dates, pitted
  • 100 grams almonds
  • 100 grams Apricots
  • 330 grams water
  • 1 teaspoons dried yeast
  • 460 grams flour
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 tsp Cinnamo
  • 1 tbsp mixed spice

Recipe's preparation

    To start

    Place Apricots, Dates and Almonds in bowl, Speed 5, 5seconds


    Add warm water and yeast to bowl with fruit and nuts speed 1, 3 seconds.



    Add all remaining items, Dough mode3 minutes.


    Turn out onto your thermomat, fold mat around the dough and let sit for 1 hour in a warm place.


    After an hour roughly shape your dough let sit for additional hour


  3. Place onto a hot tray and put 3-4 slits half way through the top of your bread add a little flour on top.

    Place into an over 200c for around 40 minutes.

    Time will vary depending on the shape , it is ready when tapped it sound hollow .



you can add whatever fruit or nuts, try dried apple or other nuts

    We used a total of 400g walnuts, sultanas, apricots and dates as the fruit and nut. We also didn't chop them up too much. We left nice big chunks.
