Tip

I freeze my extra rolls, sliced and buttered like other garlic breads and wrapped in alfoil. Then just remove and place in oven to defrost and warm before serving.

I omitted the bacon and cheese but increased the garlic and added dried mixed herbs. We like plenty of garlic! Once cooked and cooled I sliced lengthwise and added butter and cheese, wrapped and put in freezer to heat when needed. Great recipe. Thank you

Tastes good but the prep time is not 10mins, should be more like 2hrs and 10mins including the time the dough needs to rest.

Other then that a really good recipie!

Once I grated the cheese and the garlic, they were left in the bowl and then the rest of ingredients added ontop of them. No need to remove from TM bowl that way they are incorporated into the dough. Try that next time maybe, otherwise yes it would have been alot of cheese in the middle of the rolls.

  • I just guessed where to add

    Submitted by Kirstie27 on 6. March 2015 - 22:29.

I just guessed where to add the cheese/ garlic mix, so I rolled it in the centre of the dough before baking it. Would maybe next time add a bit less cheese. But tasted good
