Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Place flour, sugar, salt and yeast into the bowl.

    2. Add lukewarm water, oil and white vinegar into the bowl.

    3. Using the dough function, knead for 7 minutes.

    4. Turn dough out onto floured surface. Shape into a ball, and place aside in either a bowl covered with a tea towel or a large ziplock bag for 30 minutes.

    5. Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line trays with grease proof paper.

    6. Onto a well oiled bench (I use a refillable oil spray bottle for this) Roll out your dough into an even rectangular shape.

    7. Place your desired fillings onto the dough. If doing a pizza type scroll, place your pizza sauce or tomato paste down first and layer ingredients on top. If doing Vegemite and cheese, I find it best to mix the Vegemite in some butter and spread on first before placing cheese.

    8. Roll up dough tightly into a log shape, and cut into pieces. On average I get 12 decent sized scrolls from one batch of dough.

    9. Place onto lined baking trays, evenly spaced out, allowing for room for them to grow in size. Use two trays if necessary.

    10. Bake until golden brown, usually 15-17 minutes. Allow to cook before placing them into an airtight container.
