- 120 grams Butter, Cubed
- 100 grams golden syrup
- 1 level tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 100 grams rolled oats
- 150 grams plain flour
- 70 grams Coconut sugar
- 50 grams dessicated coconut
- 200 grams banana, Peeled and thick sliced
- 25 grams Maple syrup
- 25 grams Butter, Extra

TM 5Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
1: Preheat oven to 160°C. Line 2 baking trays with paper.
2: Place butter and golden syrup into bowl and heat 2 min/60°C/sp2. Scrape sides of bowl.
3: Add bicarbonate of soda, mix 5 sec/sp3.
4: Add oats, flour, sugar, and coconut, and mix 10 sec//sp4. Scrape sides of bowl and repeat.
5: Place dessert sized spoons onto trays, flatten slightly, and allow room for spreading during baking.
6: Bake for 8 minutes, remove from oven and allow to cool on tray for 5 minutes. Line a serving dish with 2/3rds of biscuits.
7: Add remaining biscuits to bowl, blitz 5sec/sp6. Set aside.
8: Place banana, maple syrup and extra butter in bowl, cook 5min/90°C/.
9: Spoon banana mixture on top of biscuits, sprinkle on crumble mix and serve with whipped cream, or ice cream.
Dried banana chips can be added to the biscuit base, i used 50grams.
