Recipe's preparation

    Cake batter
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Add sugar to TMX bowl and grind speed 10 / 5 secs.

Add butter and mix speed 7 / 15 secs.

Insert butterfly and mix Speed 4/ 2 mins

  3. Add eggs and vanilla and mix Speed 4 / 10 secs.

Add flour, baking powder, salt and buttermilk and mix until just combined speed 3 / 10 secs.  Do not overmix

  4. Add the frozen blueberries and gently mix speed 3 / 10 secs.  You want the berries to be frozen because it prevents them from getting mushed.

  5. Spoon into cake pan.  This is a really thick batter so you will need to spoon it in.

    Cook for 50 mins

Tip

These cakes are impossibly light, almost like friands.  I often make them as little individual cakes!

sadly its want very good. I dont know if there is an error in your instructions but I had to remove the butterfly as it would have snapped in the mixture if I tried to force it. Cake turned out very dense and took alot longer then 50 minutes to cook. This recipe needs some fine t uning tmrc_emoticons.(
