Caramel Oat Slice
- 240 g plain flour
- 120 g Self Raising Flour
- 95 g dessicated coconut
- 400 g brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 300 g Butter, melted

- 800 g sweetened condensed milk, or, 2 cans
- 90 g golden syrup
- 1 level teaspoons vanilla
- 90 g white chocolate melts, melted, to decorate

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 180degC and line a 25x35cm tin with baking paper.
- Cbine dry ingredients: 5 sec reverse sp2
- Add eggs and melted butter, 5 sec sp4, repeat if necessary until mixed. Press 2/3 into tin, reserve 1/3 for topping
- Filling: put butter, condensed milk & golden syrup in TM, mix 3-5 mins 100deg speed 3 or until well blended, add vanilla.
- Pour over base & sprinkle remaining base mix on top.
- bake 30 mins. cool in tin & refrigerate. Leave in fridge until the next day to slice. Decorate with drizzled melted white and/or dark chocolate to serve.
