Caramel Oat Slice

240 g plain flour
120 g Self Raising Flour
95 g dessicated coconut
400 g brown sugar
2 eggs
300 g Butter, melted

Filling

200 g Butter
800 g sweetened condensed milk, or, 2 cans
90 g golden syrup
1 level teaspoons vanilla
90 g white chocolate melts, melted, to decorate

  If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
  For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
  
  Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

Preheat oven to 180degC and line a 25x35cm tin with baking paper.

Cbine dry ingredients: 5 sec reverse sp2

Add eggs and melted butter, 5 sec sp4, repeat if necessary until mixed. Press 2/3 into tin, reserve 1/3 for topping

Filling: put butter, condensed milk & golden syrup in TM, mix 3-5 mins 100deg speed 3 or until well blended, add vanilla.

Pour over base & sprinkle remaining base mix on top.

bake 30 mins. cool in tin & refrigerate. Leave in fridge until the next day to slice. Decorate with drizzled melted white and/or dark chocolate to serve.
