Churros with Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

Churros

  • 250 grams Milk
  • 50 grams unsalted butter cubed
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 125 grams Plain Flour.
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 vanilla beans, split and deseeded or 1 TBS of Vanilla bean paste
  • vegetable oil, for frying

Chocolate sauce

  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 100 grams dark chocolate
  • --- splash of milk
  • Splash of Rum, (optional)

Recipe's preparation

    Churros
  1. 1. Add milk, sugar, Butter and Vanilla beans to TM Bowl and cook 10min/100'/speed 1

    2. add flour and mix 2min/100'/speed 3-4

    3. Allow to cool till 60 degrees

    4. set timer to 1min 30seconds / speed 4, and add egg yolks one at a time through the lid.

    5. Let mixture cool completly

    6. In a fry pan, add Vegetable oil and heat.

    7. pour dough into pipping bag with a star nozzle

    8. fry till golden brown

    9. set aside on paper towl to dry off excess oil.

    10. dust in Caster sugar and Cinnamon

     

     

  2. Chocolate Sauce
  3. 1, put chocolate into bowl and grate 10sec/speed 9. Set aside

    2. add condensed milk to TM bowl and heat      6min/90'/speed 2

    3. Add chocolate and mix 30sec/speed 5 till silky

    4. add milk and rum to taste, Mix 10sec/speed 4 

    5. Serve churros with Chocolate sauce

    Tried this one but unfortuna was a disaster. The churros puffed up and the almost dissolved when the hit the oil!
