Dutch Spicy Honey Cake

Cake

  • 220 g Milk, Or milk substitute
  • 40 g honey
  • 310 g plain flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 190 g raw sugar
  • 0.5 tsp Cloves, ground
  • 0.5 tsp nutmeg, ground
  • 0.5 tsp Ginger, ground

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees celsius. Place milk and honey in bowl. Heat 3 mins/60deg/speed 2

  2. Add remaining ingredients to bowl and mix for 20 secs/speed 4.

  3. Place batter into loaf tin and bake for 45 minutes.

Tip

I am considering replacing the honey with golden syrup, this would make the cake a vegan option.
