  • 1 tsp GF baking powder

Recipe's preparation

    Pancake Prep
  1. Line a Thermo Server with kitchen towelling - a sheet on the bottom, and another flat on the top (under the lid) - this will absorb moisture and allow pancakes to soften but not go soggy.

Add all ingredients to TM bowl.

If you are not using apple sauce, add the extra milk here - until you get a smooth batter.

Mix on speed 4-5 until combined and batter looks smoothish

Leave to rest while heating fry pan.

It is worth waiting till your frypan is hot enough!

Once to medium heat, add large tablespoons of  mix to fry pan (my pan is big enough for 5 pancakes at a time).

Cook until bubbles appear on top of mix.

Flip over - cook til golden

Place in Thermo-Server til ready to eat (this softens them a little, ready for rolling Up).

Tip

Apple sauce gives a smooth fluffly pancake.

If you dont have it, just add extra milk. GF flours have different absorpency levels, so just keep adding milk till you have a smooth batter.

Top with lemon juice and icing/caster sugar - or your own favourite.
