Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Grease a 1.5-2Lt pudding basin or individual moulds.

  2. Place flour, sugar and butter in to TM bowl. Mix for 4 secs/sp5. The consistency should look like breadcrumbs.

    6. Wash TM bowl. Place 1 Lt water in to TM bowl. Place the pudding basin in to the Varoma dish, cover with lid and sit in place on top of TM lid. Steam for 60 mins/Varoma/sp1. Check and top up water level to 1 Lt mark, steam for 45 mins/Varoma/sp1, or until a wooden skewer comes out clean.
