'Healthy Choc Hit' Balls

Ingredients

20 piece(s)

  • 200 grams almonds, raw
  • 10 medjool dates, pitted
  • 20 grams cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence or Paste
  • 1 dash Maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon coconut oil
  • --- dessicated coconut for rolling

Recipe's preparation

  1. Starting with almonds, add all ingredients to bowl.

  2. Blitz at Speed 8 for 10 seconds, or until desired consistency is reached.

  3. Test that the mixture will hold by squishing a bit together.  If it isn't holding, add a little more coconut oil.  If adding more oil, press turbo a couple of times to incorporate into the mix.

  4. Fill a small bowl with dessicated coconut.  Use a tablespoon to scoop out the mixture.  Roll into balls and then roll in the coconut.  Refridgerate (if you don't eat it all!)
