I made this vegan by using maple syrup instead of honey, used vegan chocolate and soy milk.  Absolutely terrific and so easy. I loved how healthy it was and didn't feel guilty at all when I had a second helping tmrc_emoticons.)!

  • Outstanding. Incredibly

Outstanding. Incredibly indulgent so I'd recommend it's served with raspberries or another sort of fruit to offset the richness. In regards to step 1, and following the instructions of other mousse recipes, I broke the chocolate block into pieces, chopped on speed 10 for 10 seconds and carried on with step 1 as normal. Even though I was using dark cooking chocolate (72% cocoa), I didn't have any lumps. Update: it is best eaten straight away. With the leftovers (a third of the recipe), we added three bananas and it become a very soft dessert, similar in nature to a custard. Very nice

  • Thanks for trying my recipe.

Thanks for trying my recipe. I used proper chocolate (which has a higher cocoa butter content) instead of cooking chocolate so that may have been why yours took a bit longer to melt and as a result tasted a bit gritty. Another idea may be to put the chocolate in and then grate it prior to melting? Let me know if this works better for you.

This was simple to make. The chocolate took longer then 3 min to melt for me. The final result was nice but still seemed a little gritty. Not sure if that was from the tofu or the chocolate! Thanks for sharing.
