No Bake Choc Hazelnut Cheesecake

  • 45 grams sugar, of choice
  • 150 grams Butter
  • 250 grams plain biscuits, eg marie
  • 250 grams Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
  • 400 grams cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pinch salt
  • chocolate shavings, chopped roasted hazelnuts and fresh or frozen berries, to serve (if desired)

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.       If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add 45 gms sugar to mixing bowl and mill 15 sec/speed 10. Set aside.
  2. Place 150g butter into bowl and melt 3 min/60°C/speed 2 add 250g biscuits to bowl and crush 15 sec/speed 6
  3. Firmly press the crumb into the base of a slice form. Place into the fridge.
  4. In bowl add 250g choc hazelnut spread, 400g cream cheese, softened, 45 gms sugar (previously milled) and 1 pinch of salt. Mix 1 min/speed 5 or until fully combined. Empty contents onto the biscuit base in the slice form. Using a spatula, smooth the top of the cheesecake. Place into the fridge for 2 hours or until set.
  5. Remove from the slice form onto a serving dish or plate. Serve with scattered chocolate shavings, chopped roasted hazelnuts and fresh berries.
