Ingredients

Ginger

  • 60 grams ginger, Raw

Dates

  • 185 grams dates, pitted

Butter

  • 155 grams Butter

Sugar

  • 65 grams sugar

Rice Bubbles

  • 90 grams rice bubbles

Recipe's preparation

    Steps
  1. Add Ginger & chop - 20s sp 5 - 7

  2. Add dates to bowl & chop - 20s sp 5

  3. Add Butter & Sugar (reduce sugar if you wish - it is quite sweet) - melt 6 min 60deg sp Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting. Check before time runs out & if butter has not melted add more time

  4. Add Rice Bubbles a small amount at a time & occasionally use spatula to push the sides down towards the middle for even distribution of butter mixture - 2 min Counter-clockwise operation sp 1

  5. Push into slice tray & place in fridge until set.

  6. Chocolate could be put on top if desired. A ratio of chocolate to copha is aproximately 9 parts to 1 part (150g chocolate to 16g copha). See how to melt chocolate in your Everyday Cookbook.
