Protein Collagen Bars

  • 10 portion medjool dates
  • 100 g rolled oats
  • 100 g Shredded coconut
  • 2 heaped tablespoons Nut Butter
  • 2 heaped tablespoons coconut oil
  • 3 heaped tablespoons protein collage powder, if you do not have protein collagen powder, use 3 scoops of protein and 1 heaped tablespoon of collagen powder
  • 1 dash hot water
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 1 heaped tablespoons Butter

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add all ingredients except for dark chocolate and butter
  2. Blend 1 minute/ speed 8
  3. Scrape down sides of bowl. Add more hot water if necessary. Consistency should be soft and malleable. Not too wet.
    Blend 30 seconds / speed 8
  4. Press into snack bar moulds and refrigerate
  5. Clean and dry bowl
  6. Add chocolate and butter
    melt 3mins/55degrees/speed 1
  7. Stir, scrape down sides with spatula
    If needed, repeats melt for 1 min or until chocolate is pourable
  8. Remove bars from fridge.
    Pour and spread chocolate over each bar
  9. refrigerate for minimum 4 hours
  10. remove from fridge and mould tray. Cut each bar in half to create 12 portions
