Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Preheat oven to 160 degrees. Line a baking tray with Thermomat or baking paper.
Put pecans in bowl and chop 10 seconds/speed 4.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix 2 mins/37 degrees/speed 2.
Pour mix out onto tray and spread out into a thin even layer.
Bake for 15 mins, then turn the tray around and bake for another 5-10 until it is a deep golden brown and fragrant. The edges may appear to be getting too brown, but they're just gettine crisp and caramelised.
Leave to cool completely before breaking into bite-size pieces.

So good I used cashews instead of pecans and raw sugar instead of coconut sugar, as I didn't have those ingredients. They turned out amazing. So delicious!

So delicious! Thank you, superb recipe. It's a great snack to have with you on a day trip or in the car instead of grabbing a chocolate bar or packet of chips from the service station or 7/11.
