      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Mill sugar - 10 sec, speed 9

    2. scrape down sides

    3. Juice oranges - by hand

    3. Add orange juice, mix 10 sec, speed 3 - to dissolve sugar

    4. Heat: 4 min, 100 deg, speed 2 - bring to boil

    5. cook 10 min, 100 deg, spee 2 to Simmering to reduce

    6. cook 1 min, 98 deg, add butter 1 piece at a time through opening
