Sticky Date Custard

Custard

  • 4 Medjool Dates, de-seeded
  • 1 MC water
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Paste
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 250 grams Milk, (could use non-dairy milk to make if dairy free)

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Put the dates and water into the TM.

    2. Cook for 8 minutes, speed 1, 100deg.

    3. Blend speed 7, 30 seconds

    4. Add rest of the ingredients.

    5. Cook 90 degrees, speed 4 for 7 minutes

    6. Enjoy!

    I thought i'd give this a try for a different flavour of custard. It was nice but for my taste i would have made it a little sweeter. Thanks for the recipe

    Probably - as you have them soaking and cooking in the water (you may need a few more as they are not as sweet as mejdool). Let us know if it works.
