      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Mill sugar 15 sec/speed 9

  2. Add milk, cream, malt and vanilla. Mix 30 sec/speed 5

  3. Add egg yolks. Mix 20 sec/speed 4

  4. Cook 5 min/80 degrees/speed 4

  5. Pour into cold metal tin and freeze

  6. After 3 or 4 hours, remix 1 min/speed 5

  7. Return to the freezer and freeze minimum 6 hours
