Spot on. Thanks. I used 1 tbsp of keens curry powder instead of any curry paste. Mince turned out A-OK given it was cooked in basket for all but 1min. Added tin of pineapplr chunks, coz thats how i used to have it as a kid 😁 Cheers 👍

Made this today. Used 500 ml of beef stock I had left over instead of the water . Pan fried the mince, easier cleaning. Just a magnificent dish , wifey loved it #points

  • Sorry to hear that, just

Sorry to hear that, just wondering if you minced your own meat, you can leave the texture a little coarser if you mince your own. Supermarket mince does tend to go to mush.

  • Sorry but this did just turn

    Submitted by Chopsuey on 17. February 2015 - 07:10.

Sorry but this did just turn to goo! Have tried a few mince dishes in Thermie and they all mush up the mince too much for our liking! Did cook on reverse too! The flavour was there but will stick to chopping the veges in Thermie but making the dish on the stove?

    Ciao, Chopsuey!
