Cinnamon Black Soy Sauce Pork Belly

  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 200 g Pork Belly, (cut in 1 x 3 cm per piece)
  • 1 stick Cinnamon Stick, about 1 inch long
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 10 g oil
  • 30 g water

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add oyster sauce & light soy sauce to pork belly to marinate for 1/2 hr.

    2. Put garlic & oil in Closed lid, 3.30min/V/Gentle stir setting.

    3. Add in marinated pork belly & cinnamon stick to cook, 10min/100C/Gentle stir setting

    4. Add in salt, sugar & water to sauté, 3min/100C/Gentle stir setting.

    5. Leave it in the Closed lid for 10min.

    6. Enjoy!
