  • 500 grams pork mince
  • 15 large raw prawns
  • 2 teaspoons Minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons Minced Ginger
  • 1 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 egg white, lightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil

sauce

  • 400 g coconut milk
  • 2 teaspoons TM Thai Red Curry Paste
  • 1 tablespoon demerera sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 heaped teaspoon cornflour
  • 1 tablespoon water

Recipe's preparation

    meat balls
  1. 1.

    place ginger and garlic, fish sauce,egg white and mince into tm bowl

    3s speed 7, scrape down sides

  2. 2.

    add prawns,3s speed 5, they will go to paste very easily if over processed, scrape down sides.

    Form into walnut size balls(about 40),place in varoma and refridgerate about 1 hour

    wash tm bowl

    place peanut oil in tm bowl with curry paste

    cook 2mins 60*

  5. 4.add cocoanut milk,fish sauce,sugar and lime juice

    blend 10s speed 7

    add cornflour blended with water through hole in top

    while speed 5/ 10s

    place varoma with meatballs on top and cook 20-25 mins varoma

    speed 2

Tip

The origional recipe was in a Donna Hay magazine then altered for tm by beemel.

I served these over hoiken noodles, also added some frozen green beans to the sauce for the last 10 mins.

This sauce has the most amazing flavour
