Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
I prefer my sausages cooked in the pan, so I have them cooking while i do the rest then add at the end as per recipe. If you would like to cook them in the varoma previous then set aside in Thermoserver that would be fine too.
Spray frying pan and cook sausages until cooked through, turning every few minutes. When cooked slice into bite size pieces.
1. Place onion in bowl & chop 3 sec, Sp 7.
2. Scrape down sides of bowl and add oil, saute 3 mins, varoma Sp 1.
3. Add capsicum, chop 2 sec, Sp 5.
4. Weigh in flour & water, combine 10 sec, "Counter-clockwise operation" Sp 3.
5. Add curry powder, vege stock paste, sugar, pepper & coconut milk. Combine 5 sec Sp 5 to mix through.
6. Cook 12 min, 100* "Counter-clockwise operation" Sp 1.
7. Add cooked & chopped sausages, peas & corn. Mix a little with your spatula to combine. Cook 10 min "Counter-clockwise operation" 100* Sp "Gentle stir setting" .
8. Check veges are cooked to your liking, When cooked set aside in Thermoserver to keep warm while you do mashed potato.
Rinse & dry mixing bowl.
1. Insert butterfly
2. Add potatoes & milk, cook for 25-30 mins, 100* Sp 1.

Tip
This is quite a mild curry which my whole family loves. If you would like it hotter add more curry powder in step 5.
This sauce is also delicious with chicken that has been steamed in the varoma then added in place of sausages.

This was the best curried sausages recipe I have ever tasted! My husband agreed! I didn't have any onion or capsicum so I chopped an apple and a carrot in step 1. I used 2 teaspoons of Keen's curry powder and it was just the right amount (I don't like my curry too hot). So delicious!! Thank you for a great recipe!

Super easy and super yummy.
Super easy and super yummy. We love to have our curried sausages with rice (either Basmati or Jasmine). This dish had a beautiful smell... a lovely curry taste. It was a good hearty winter meal. Husband really enjoyed this meal.
Delicious! We are real wimps
Delicious! We are real wimps regards curry, so I only put one teaspoon in. Yeah, as Mummunro says the Thermomix will not heat at spead 7 in step 6, so just put it on 4. It was fine. A really lovely sauce. I put in some zucchini instead of the corn and just poured it over the sausages and baked it in the oven. Rave reviews Thank you for sharing.
