Creamy Herb and Garlic Chicken Medley

Ingredients

4 portion(s)

Herb and Garlic cream

  • 2 shallots, chopped in quarters
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 250 grams cream cheese, cut up in quarters
  • 1 garlic clove

Chop and Saute Together

  • 1 onion, cut in half
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp Butter

Add Chicken

  • 500 grams boneless chicken thighs or breasts, diced in 2cm pieces

Add rest of ingredients

  • 1 carrots diced
  • 1 zuchinni, cubed
  • 100 gram Green beans, trimmed and halfed
  • 100 grams Any other veggies of choice
  • 1 tsp salt or stock
  • Good grind of Black Pepper

Recipe's preparation

    Making the Herb and Garlic Cream
  1.  Add Parsley, Garlic and Shallots to the Closed lid 

    Chop speed 7 for 10 seconds

  2. Add Cream cheese  to theClosed lid

    Mix on speed 4 for 15 seconds

  3. Remove mix and set aside 

  4. Sauteing
  5. Add Onion and Garlic to Closed lid

    Chop on speed 8 for 5 seconds 

  6. Add butter 

    Set time to  2 min  

    100 deg on Gentle stir setting

     

     

  7. Add chicken 

    100 deg on Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting set for 5 min 

  8. Add rest of Ingredients including your cream cheese mix . 

    Put mc on .

    100 deg on Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting for 20 min .

steam some rice or pasta before you start your cooking and keep warm in a thermoserver.

    Im not too sure , to get the creaminess in the dish its a bit hard to substitute you  could possibly try some coconut milk with chopped herbs and Garlic , Not sure how it will go , but if you try , add the milk  at the end of your dish and herbs in the beginning .

    This was delicious. Forgot to add beans, still it was yummy, my husband even went back for 2nds!! Thanks for a delicious dish! 

     

    Question: instead of cream cheese, is there another alternative, as my baby girl (9mths) is lactose intolerant, just wondering as were giving her our food now, pureed, any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks again. We thoroughly enjoyed it tmrc_emoticons.)

    Yummo , clever use of herb and garlic dip . Really enjoyed . when I added all ingredients I used TM basket instead of mc . Always saying we can use dip many ways thanks for proving it .

    My family loved this!!! So tasty. 

    I used natural yoghurt and Italian herb mix to make the herb and garlic part,

    also added 2 small red onions and 3 cloves of garlic, about 2 tbs of nutletx to 10ml of olive oil to sauté the onion and garlic.

  • Creamy but not heavy so was a

    Creamy but not heavy so was a great balance. I used frozen peas instead of the beans and other vegies (kept carrot and zuchinni) and it still worked well. I forgot to add the stock and it still tasted good but I will remember to add it next time. My whole family (kids included) enjoyed this dish.
