For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Add Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs to bowl. Chop 5 seconds/speed 6. Transfer to seperate bow
- 2. Add garlic, chop 5 seconds/speed 7. Scrape down sides of the bowl.
- 3. Add onion, and chop 3secs/sp 5
- 4. Add beef mince to bowl. 45 seconds/speed 3.5.
- 5. Form into rissoles or patties.
- 6. Cook in frypan or BBQ until cooked through.
