Hidden Veg Rissoles

  • 1000 g Beef mince
  • 1 egg
  • 2 slices bread, (can use the crusts/end piece)
  • 1/2 zucchini
  • 1/2 Capsicum
  • 1 carrot
  • 50 g Sweet chilli sauce
  • 10 g Worcestershire sauce
  • 50 g relish or homemade tomato sauce, (can use store bought tomato sauce if needed)

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.       If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 200°
  2. Line oven tray with baking paper
  3. Put everything except the mince into the Closed lid and mix 20 sec/speed 9
  4. Put mince into a large bowl and pour in vegetable mix (this will be very wet and runny)
  5. Using your hands, mix through the vegetable mix into the mince until combined
  6. Take small handfulls of the mince mixture and roll into a ball, place onto oven tray, repeat until all mixture has been used
  7. Cook in oven for 30 - 45 min or until cooked through

Tip

I do not recommend cooking these in a frying pan as they will fall apart, these are best cooked in the oven on a tray.

These are fantastic the next day on a roll, toasted sandwich etc.

Warm up and freeze well.
