Honey-soy chicken wings
- 175 g honey
- 125 g soy sauce
- 2 tsp crushed garlic
- 1 tsp crushed ginger
- 1/4 tsp dried chilli flakes, Or to taste
- 12 chicken wings, Cut into 2 pieces at the joints. Discard the tips ( use in stock for soups)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, Optional
- Sliced green onions, To serve ( optional)
- Steamed Asian greens, To serve
- steamed white rice, To serve

The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- 1. Place the honey, soy, garlic, ginger and chilli to the "Closed lid"
2. Cook 4mins/100°C/sp2
3. Set aside for 10 minutes to cool slightly.
4. If using an Airfryer, place the chicken in an oven bag, pour over the marinade, ( add the optional sesame seeds) seal closed and place in the AF set at 190°C, for 20-30mins, or unti cooked when tested.
if you like them extra crunchy, once cooked, drain and spread on a tray in the AF and cook for a further 5-10mins @200°C.
