Hungarian Goulash

  • 200 grams onion cut in half
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 30 grams olive oil
  • 250 grams beef cubed 3x3
  • 250 grams pork cubed 3x3
  • 20 grams tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoons sweet paprika, ground
  • 0.5 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 2 bayleaf
  • 4 allspice berries
  • 200 grams water or more if needed
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable stock concentrate
  • 150 grams red / green peppers cut in strips

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place onion and garlic and chop 3 sec speed 7.

    Add ground cumin, dried majoran and olive oil and saute 3min/120deg/1.

    Add cubed meat and cook 5min/120deg/Reverse/speed1.

    Add tomato paste, dijon mustard, sweet paprika, chilli powder, bayleaf, allspice, water and vegetable stock and cook for 30-40min/100deg/ Reverse/ speed 1.

    Add capsicum strips and salt and pepper to taste and cook 5-10min/100deg/Reverse/speed1.

Serve with sour cream and salad, best coleslaw.
